Mouthwatering recipe of tart cherry juice
- 1 lb (16 ounces) of cherries
- 2 lbs sugar (less, if desired)
- 1/2 pint water
- 3 bottles of carbonated water (soda)
- Clean the seedless cherries and put them in a saucepan with sugar.
- Cover the pan with the lid and leave it for 2 hours.
- Add 950 ml of pint water and stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Now boil the mixture and then on light flame, stir the mixture for 15 minutes.
- Then strain the mixture in a container and then squeeze the extract from the cherries.
- Then boil gently the liquid until it thickens.
- Now keep the mixture to room temperature and let it cool.
- Put 1 or 2 spoons of the mixture in soda water or normal water, stir it and drink it!
